Talking to an Operator

After you have asked your question, If the organizer has arranged for operators, you will be transferred to one after raising your hand. This person will confirm your question or comment and then return you to the queue.

Note: You must enable your microphone and camera on your browser before talking to an operator. For help, see these articles.


Note: You must allow Motion Meetings to access your microphone and camera (if you have one).


You will see the above screen while waiting to talk to an operator. 


Events can be very busy so it may take some time for an operator to get to you.

The following pop-up window will appear when you are being transferred to speak with an operator. 

You are now in a break-out room with an operator, please ensure your microphone is not muted.

When you are done speaker with the operator, they will move you back to the "broadcast room" where you can continue listening until your question is selected.


Note: You can leave your microphone un-muted, people will not hear you until you are moved to the "main event room". 

When your question is selected, you will be moved to the main event room where you will be able to ask your question or make your comment live on air.

When you are done asking your question, you will be moved back to the broadcast room where you can continue listening to the event.
